Any and all are welcome, whether you are vegan or not. Bong Bonlai serves all people who are in search of tasty plant-based food and refreshing drinks. Our restaurant bakes fresh vegan baked goods every day including cakes, cheesecake, and even brownies!

Breakfast

Join us in the morning and you’ll have the option to enjoy a 100% vegan full English breakfast including vegan sausage, vegan eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and toast. It is simply the best way to start any day in Phnom Penh!

Those in need of something lighter might opt for the “Vegan’s Florentine” from our menu. This is a traditional British breakfast dish that is served on a toasted English muffin and topped with a vegan runny egg, wilted spinach, grilled mushrooms and topped with a vegan hollandaise sauce. Yum!

Those after a whole foods option can choose from a number of healthy muesli bowls topped with nuts, seeds, and fresh local fruits. Coconut cream pancakes are also served daily topped with bananas and passion fruit. If you want something extra special you can choose “The Sunrise Smoothie Bowl” designed to start your day full of energy and excitement!

Lunch

Travelers looking for their midday fuel stop before heading back out into the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh should come to visit us at Bong Bonlai. Here you will find the perfect lunchtime menu that will energize you and your fellow travelers.

Try the beetroot falafel wrap for a taste of the middle east, served in a warm pitta with vegan tzatziki sauce. The homemade mousaka is pure comfort food made up of delicious grilled eggplant, tomatoes, special spices, and topped with divine vegan cashew cheese.

Health-conscious travelers can choose the “Tofeta Quinoa Salad” from our menu. A beautiful Greek-style salad topped with a special vegan feta cheese made from tofu.

Dinner

Bong Bonlai is a vegan food paradise but it saves the best food for the dinnertime menu. The “Crunchy “WINGS” Burger” is simply to die for. If you are vegan, you don’t want to miss out on the chance to gorge on a KFC-style vegan sandwich!

“The Incredible Burger” is exactly what it says on the tin. A big black bean and soy patty topped with grilled cashew cheese, vegan calamari, and jalapenos that tastes simply…incredible!

We also serve up a number of traditional Thai and Khmer dishes that have been “veganized” including Kymer Style Tofu and Mushrooms and Thai Red Curry.
